Popular Crypto Exchange Announces to Give Away 50,000 XRP Tokens as the Coin Tanks to $0.60

One of the most popular Us-based crypto exchanges announces to give away 50,000 XRP’s in the coming days.

Recently, Uphold, crypto exchange with headquarters in New York City, has made an announcement that it would be giving away 50,000 XRP tokens this month, the amount is the equivalent of over $31k.

The announcement was made on November 13th. In the tweet, Uphold first announced the winner of October’s give away of 20,000 XRP tokens, Oregon’s Donald Z. In the same tweet the exchange pledged to give away 50,000 XRP tokens this month, in the event named Sweepstakes.

The exchange has also announced the eligibility criteria. According to the release every individual making a trade of $20 or over will get a single entry in the contest.

October’s giveaway was the first one from Uphold. While the exchange had initially announced to give away 10,000 XRP tokens, it later doubled the amount to 20,000 after the partnership with XRP’s parent company, Ripple.

In the meanwhile, XRP has had a rather tumultuous past couple of days. Within a couple of hours on November 14th XRP first hit $0.72 from the low of $0.65, only to later retrace back. Earlier today, however, the coin tanked to $0.60, the lowest level since November 4th. XRP quickly made a recovery shortly afterward as the coin returned above $0.62.

Currently trading at $0.63, XRP is down 2.84% during the day and 7.27% over the week. Despite this recent fall, the projections with regard to XRP remain strong.  Egrag Crypto, a famous crypto analyst, recently tweeted that XRP would hit $1.40 by January 1st, 2024.  As per the analyst XRP is currently in a resistance or consolidation zone, and once it is breached, the projection with play out as described.
