Changelly Now Allow Direct Credit and Debit Card Purchase of XRP

Hours after getting a go-ahead by the New York FDS to offer custodial services for six high liquid cryptocurrencies including XRP, Changelly has announced their intention to offer Euro and USD market for the third most valuable cryptocurrency in the world, XRP. The effect of this is immediate and overly positive for XRP because immediately after the decision was made, customers streamed in buying XRP using their Visa and MasterCard Debit/Credit cards.

In an email to their users, the exchange said:

“It’s time to buy XRP now! You can convert your EUR and USD to XRP. This is major news for XRP fans and wise investors. Anyone who wants to can use their smart devices to buy XRP on Changelly using Simplex. Give it a shot! Changelly” 

While Changelly users could make direct fiat-XRP purchases without going through third parties, Changelly announced through their official Twitter that the XRP enthusiasts can buy XRP via SimplexCC. SimplexCC is an EU licensed financial institution  that allows exchanges, wallets, merchants and even brokers to smoothly run their business in a fraud free environment.  The firm has proven itself as stellar in a “precarious” crypto environment that is precipitated by hacks and as such it can be trusted to act a conduit for a fraud-less, global payment processing. 

While acknowledging their partnership with SimplexCC, Ilya Bere, the CEO, Changelly said:

In recent days, cryptocurrency exchanges across the world have been fast-tracking their support of XRP. Just recently, Bittrex opened up the fiat market for XRP in a bid to avoid Bitcoin becoming so dominant and overrunning other viable cryptocurrencies in the space. In the meantime, CoinField made XRP base for 30 crypto pairs while Nexo now accepts XRP as loan collateral.
